Purchasing Assistant
Help keep electronics builds supplied by purchasing components, following up with suppliers, and organizing purchasing records.
The work
What you’ll do.
- Purchase electronic components and other assembly materials by phone and online.
- Contact suppliers about pricing, lead times, and order status.
- Help count and track component inventory.
- Organize purchasing documents, assembly drawings, and parts lists.

Work closely with the Head of Purchasing and colleagues in other departments. During the first few months, you’ll receive on-the-job guidance as you learn the purchasing process and take on greater independence.
