New division identity highlights electronics manufacturing as the company approaches its 45th anniversary
NORWOOD, Mass., Sep 30, 2026 — Micron Corporation today announced the rollout of Micron EMS, the new identity for its core electronics manufacturing business. Micron EMS is a division of Micron Corporation, giving that business a distinct, recognizable identity while preserving its connection to the company’s history.
The rollout introduces a gray logo featuring the Greek letter μ (mu) alongside the Micron EMS name. The symbol represents the metric prefix “micro,” or one millionth. A micron is one millionth of a meter, connecting the company’s name with the precision, care, and attention to detail its employees bring to their work.
Micron EMS supports original equipment manufacturers with high-mix, low-volume electronics manufacturing, from prototypes and new product introduction through ongoing production. Services include surface-mount and through-hole PCB assembly, box build and electromechanical integration, and testing and programming. The division gives customers a clear point of reference for Micron’s manufacturing capabilities.
